Board of Directors
The CIMA Board of Directors is comprised of dedicated medical professionals who volunteer their time and expertise to advance the mission of the Canadian Iranian Medical Association. Our board members bring diverse specialties and perspectives to guide the organization.
Dr. Mahnaz Mahmoodi completed her Medical Degree at Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences then she completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology in the same University and started working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Ahvaz University.
After immigration to Canada, she graduated as a Family Physician at the University of Western Ontario and then completed a Diploma in Practical Dermatology at Cardiff University.
Mahnaz is a lecturer at the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Toronto. Since joining Southlake Hospital in 2011, Mahnaz has acted as a Physician Leader at Southlake Family Health clinic in multiple capacities including Chair of the Southlake Family Medicine Teaching Unit and member of the Business Committee.
Dr. Mahnaz Mahmoodi is a GP Focused on Dermatology with experience in all types of skin cancer including Melanoma. She has been working at Simco Derm Medical and Surgical Dermatology center.
Mahnaz loves traveling and Photography. She enjoys taking photos of castles and old palaces while she is on vacation.
She is a big fan of cozy coffee shops, always looking for the best coffee in every place that she is visiting.
